Soon afterwards, his adult self also receives a challenge: the wager is the city itself - bombs have been planted everywhere! Kaito Kid Strikes again, and this time, he is after a mysterious Russian egg in the possession of the Suzuki Corporation. With both the police force and Mori Kogoro protecting the egg, Kaito Kid was able to steal it with ease; but unexpectedly, a dangerous assassin name Scorpion blew Kaito Kid out of the skies by shooting at his right eye. What is so special about this egg, and why is Scorpion killing everyone revolving this case? Conan Edogawa must solve the mystery while hiding his true identity from Ran.

When a series of murders involving police officers occurs, chaos erupts within the police headquarters; and in an attempt to keep the citizens calm, the police decide to bury the case in the shadows. Kogoro, Conan and the rest of the gang have arrived at Miracle Land for a special and mysterious job. Unfortunately for our heroes, the client is anything but kind; three detectives before them have been summoned to solve his mystery, and three detectives have been killed – via the explosive device in the bracelets – for not being able to solve it in time. Unless Conan and Kogoro use their powers of deduction to solve the mystery by the evening, they and all of their friends will die! They will be joined by Kaitou Kid and other familiar faces; can they discover the identity of the client and figure out the mystery in time?

Now Conan must work with everyone – including his arch-rival, Kid – in order to prevent the terrorists' nefarious plans from coming to fruition.

When a tunnel bombing nearly claims the life of its target, the governor of Tokyo, Conan takes the case to find the culprit.
